Cynthia sings Frasquita and covers Michaëla in Hogfish Maine Festival's take on Bizet's Carmen. She is a Resident Artist with the company and also performs several recitals throughout the summer in the Portland, Maine area.

Cynthia is a featured soloist in Felix Jarrar’s artist regenerative project alongside soprano Maria Brea. Cynthia will sing “The Dreamer” a song from Felix Jarrar’s song cycle Eclipse.

Hogfish Maine Festival | Portland, Maine | July 27-30, 2023

Cynthia performs her individual artist regenerative project as part of the Farm to Stage Series. This project showcases the song cycle “Cuatro Canciones en Nahuatl” by Salvador Moreno. This project aims to amplify works that focus on Indigenous languages and their preservation. Felix Jarrar joins as collaborative pianist. 

Soul Echoes

ConcertiaHTX | September 21st, 2023

Cynthia performs “Soul Echoes” through ConcertiaHTX & University of Colorado. This performance features works composed by J.E. Hernandez which contains legal declarations of texts by migrants in detention centers compiled by attorney Warren Binford. Performed at the Kempe Center at the University of Colorado.

Cynthia is a soloist in a recital at the Masonic Museum alongside artists David Rivera Bozon, Anna Harris, Valentina Pulido Pardo, Ana Ospina and Liya Nigmati.

Cynthia plays Maria (West Side Story) and Mimì (La bohème) in a cabaret of opera and musical theatre scenes.
